Nature Immersion Weekend
Veluwe, the Netherlands
Experience an inspiring Nature Positive weekend in the tranquil nature of the Veluwe, surrounded by forests and silence.
During these Nature Immersion weekends, you will stay in the cozy and off-grid Cabiner cabins and develop a deep connection with nature through mindful walking and meditation, followed by guided foraging sessions where you'll discover the edible treasures of the landscape. You will also have the opportunity to see signs & tracks of wildlife, immersing yourself in the rhythms of the forest while learning about the local flora and fauna.

In addition to connecting with nature and personal reflection, you’ll bond with like-minded people by cooking and sharing meals together, and having meaningful conversations around the campfire. You will learn what it means to become Nature Positive, and how you can give back to nature and local communities.
This weekend is perfect for anyone looking to relax, slow down, and be inspired by a nature-positive lifestyle while deepening their connection with themselves, others, and the natural world.

Our Nature Immersion Weekend is designed with our partner Cabiner, and with local support from SoulPower and Wildwise op de Veluwe.

Minimum 6, maximum 8 participants.

* All MOYO programs are (aside from transport to Cabiner Basecamp) fully inclusive, and come with a 10& give back on top of the training price, that flows into a fund to a) support nature in the areas we operate in, and b) benefits new trainees through (partly) funded training programs.

*More on your Cabiner stay
Off-grid, offline, off you go!
Cabiner offers unforgettable off-grid adventures that reconnect you with nature. No distractions, no trace left behind—except for your footsteps on the way to your cabin. Because these cabins are only accessible on foot.
The off-grid cabins are self-sufficient and minimally designed, giving you endless space for meaningful conversations and experiences. Stripped down to the essentials, the cabin invites intuitive use. A few pumps of the hand-operated water system bring up fresh, filtered groundwater. The wood stove sets the mood while heating the space, your water, and your meal. From a wonderfully comfortable bed, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views. Everything you need for a journey—outward into nature and inward into yourself.
Preparation
Embrace the adventure. Nature offers stunning starry skies, fresh air, and peaceful silence—but also rain, mud, and mosquitoes. Be well-prepared, embrace the adventure, and you’ll enjoy it even more. A packing list will be sent to you a few weeks before your adventure. You’ll be sharing a cabin with up to three others (there's two large doubles that can be used as four singles), so bring your own sleeping bag.

Meet the Team
During this Nature Immersion Weekend in the tranquil nature of the Veluwe, you will gain insights and experience in mindfulness, nature-positive practices, and into local flora, fauna & nature conservation. Meet the team that will make that happen!

Aukje van Gerven
MOYO Training
Growing up, Aukje enjoyed nature mostly from horseback, which instilled a love for wandering in wild spaces. She holds degrees in Law and History, but when working in these fields ceased to inspire her, she discovered true adventure travel while cycling from Tanzania to the Netherlands. She has more than twenty years of experience in ecotourism, community engagement, hospitality, and wildlife tourism development & training in European rewilding areas. The nature positive impact these trainings had on participants, partners, and herself, has motivated her to co-found MOYO Training Foundation, and delivering nature positive training programs to support wildlife, biodiversity and communities around the globe.

Sandrijn van der Voort
SoulPower
Coming from a family of 'conscious' parents, Sandrijn grew up with an early appreciation for the value of nature and its inhabitants. After years of working as a healthcare psychologist in mental health care, she realised she preferred to contribute in the field of prevention. She delved into mindfulness and it's combination with walking, which eventually led to the founding of Soulpower.
Through Soulpower, she offers mindfulness and mindful walking training for both individuals and businesses. Introducing people to the power of nature and helping them discover their inner strength is her true passion.

Sebastiaan van Empel
Wildwise op de Veluwe
Sebastiaan will take you on a journey into the wild heart of the Veluwe, the largest contiguous protected nature reserve in North-West Europe. A varied area with dense forests, open heathlands, vast drifting sands and a rich history, the habitat of red deer, roe deer, foxes, badgers, wild boars, bison and wolves. And of beautiful species of birds of prey and songbirds, insects, reptiles and amphibians. Together with the trees and plants they form unique ecosystems.
Along the way Sebastiaan will take you along in the stories about the animals that live here in freedom, about the interesting history and the challenges of today. He will teach you to look at trees, plants and animals, and how they are connected.
